ABOUT
Dellanee Wade is a Louisiana-based graphic designer, businesswoman, and educator with a passion for creative storytelling and community-building. She is the co-founder of Maltshop Marketing, a digital agency that blends nostalgia with strategy to help brands stand out with sweetness and substance.
Wade currently teaches as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Southern University at Shreveport, where she empowers students to use design as a tool for impact. She also serves as the lead Graphic Designer for Get Social With Teja, a Los Angeles-based agency focused on social justice and uplifting Black and Brown communities through intentional design.
She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from Louisiana Tech University and a BA in Communication with a concentration in New Media Design from Centenary College of Louisiana. Her creative practice explores image-making, visual culture, and storytelling that reflect and reshape the world around us.
Dellanee is actively involved in her community through organizations such as the Young Professionals Initiative (YPI), People Acting for Change & Equality (PACE), the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier (JLSB), the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, and the Inner City Entrepreneur (ICE) Institute Board of Directors.
Since 2015, she has been a proud member of the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier. She currently serves her eighth year on the Executive Board as President and Louisiana State Representative for the AAF District 10 Executive Committee. She has earned 25 American Advertising Awards, including the 2023 MOSAIC Award for Shreveport-Bossier's Black Restaurant Week.
